Always have a camera ready

It is a good practice to keep your battery charged and your camera with you wherever you go. Why? Because you never know when one of those moments will happen when you may say, I wish I had my camera, or, that would have been a great shot!

Get into the habit of tracking your target with your viewfinder. After all, there is nothing like distracting the subject by reaching for a camera and ruining an otherwise perfect shot. The great shots typically require a lot of patience.

If your camera allows you to have custom settings, it isn’t a bad idea to have one just for those action shots. Although many cameras do have a setting primarily for this.
